Mayer implements the mandatory belief of “corporate karma” and being of service. When a company puts people before profit, both community and business prosper simultaneously. This philosophy serves as a moral compass to guide his corporate conduct towards serving the community and ultimately giving to those who need it most.

 

These implemented policy help facilitate his corporation, Dahan Properties' main and ultimate goal to give back. With Corporate Karma, Dahan Properties has taken The Dream Builders Project under its wing. The Dream Builders Project is a "charity for charities", meaning an organization that scouts, evaluates and takes action to bring overlooked non-profits to the surface. Dahan Properties has pledged 5% annually to the non-profit so that it can successfully carry on its mission. 

 

His participation in local groups and charities is a priority. His love for community involvement has spurred his motivation to do as much as he can. Mayer's companies strive everyday to succeed, in hopes that the company has an opportunity to give back on a monumental level.

 

Mayer is committed to putting help directly in people’s hands, which is why he has actively contributed to The Dream Builders Project, Habitat for Humanity, K.I.D.S., Restore NYC, The Polaris Project, Lupus LA, Team Fox, and Love Across the Ocean. He empathizes with the impoverished, and is disturbed by homeless statistics that imply a lack of compassion and community. “I can help, so I will help,” is one of Mayer’s many ideals that inspire him to give back.
